Corporate culture
We are a family-owned and operated medium-sized company that has been in existence for several generations. TENTE was founded in Germany, but is internationally distributed and represented all over the globe. Our employees around the world understand the local language and the industry-specific requirements. This enables us to advance mobility solutions with our employees on an international level. Because of our international positioning, we consider it very important to maintain excellent, trusting and intercultural teamwork. Also, the international exchange between the individual subsidiaries is appreciated and particularly encouraged here. In this context, we pay special attention to an international and holistic communication of our values, which is communicated and implemented across all our subsidiaries around the globe.
Leadership & development
TENTE supports the education of its employees. This includes on-the-job studies, advanced training or further professional qualifications and in-house programs for personnel development. In addition, we offer a 2-year Junior Management Program for young employees as a way of supporting the next generation. This program is designed to prepare young employees for responsible management tasks within the TENTE family according to the Maturity Model. We also offer individual development discussions and coaching sessions to help employees successfully prepare for new tasks.
International performance
TENTE disposes of a large number of global positions with international professional and disciplinary leadership. We are represented on five continents with 30 subsidiaries. This is something that our employees experience every day. We provide international exchange at a variety of levels in work meetings, groups as well as conferences. As a leading manufacturer of castors and wheels, we feature an online learning platform with our own learning content and internal brand trainings. This enables us to improve our employees' knowledge of castors, wheels and mobility solutions. Since we operate as a global company, we offer our employees virtual and multi-site language courses as well as global and in-house training for a deeper knowledge of our products and services. At TENTE, every employee counts. For this reason, we also provide individual and targeted training for employees and specific teams from all departments. In addition, we offer individual and group coaching sessions which are designed to meet the specific needs of each employee. In this way, every employee is able to receive individual support and further professional trainings. In accordance with the Maturity Model, responsibility can be taken on where employees feel ready and prepared for new challenges. At TENTE, every single employee has the opportunity to continue his or her individual development.
